Hardave Birk Parliamentary Employee Ottawa, Ontario

Hardave works on Parliament Hill as a legislative assistant to a Senator. As part of his job, he sees first-hand how Canada’s energy industry creates jobs for thousands of Canadians, while fuelling economic growth across our country. And he is proud of the industry’s contributions.

He believes that the sustainable development of Canada’s energy resources can lead to long term prosperity by providing the funding needed to support critical services like education and health care. “I’m proud of the fact that Canada’s energy industry has been at the forefront of innovation, working to sustainably develop Canada’s oil and gas reserves with a clear focus on the environment,” he says. “All of this ensures a healthy Canada for future generations.”

Hardave hopes that Canada’s energy future will include a more diverse mix of energy sources. He knows that Canadian energy producers can lead this diversification, allowing Canada to be a global energy leader well into the future.
