Ken Clancy Vernon, BC Proud Canadian

Ken is the President & CEO of Okanagan Fertilizer Ltd.

His company provides fertilizer and crop input products for a wide range of industries; agriculture, horticulture, golf, forestry, industrial.  A family owned company, Okanagan Fertilizer been in business since 1976 with full service fertilizer blending plants in Enderby and Willams Lake.  Their products are sold throughout western Canada and exported as far as South Korea.

Ken believes that supporting the industry is important because the production of conventional fertilizer depends on the energy industry, with ammonia and natural gas key fertilizer ingredients.  In turn, these materials grow the food that not only feeds Canadians, but also helps feed the rest of the world.  In order to feed a growing population the fertilizer and crop inputs industry strives to continually increase yields while protecting the environment - there is no other alternative.  The energy industry will continue to play a critical role in the world’s food production. And Ken is certain, there’s no better place to get your energy from than right here at home.
