Local Partnerships

It’s what good neighbours do.

Like any good neighbour, Canada’s oil and natural gas industry strive to make our communities healthy, prosperous places for our families to live and thrive in. The industry has a long history of community engagement based on consultation and mutual respect. Ultimately, we want Canadians to feel their community is improved by the presence of the industry.

In 2013, Canada’s oil and natural gas industry contributed over $144 million to community organizations and important causes across Canada. From providing grants for after-school programs, to holding a recycling drive, to helping with natural disaster relief, the industry always steps up for our communities.

Through partnerships, the industry plays a key role in funding community activities and public services that improve the quality of life for all of us.
