Student & Researcher
Born and raised in Oakville, Ontario, Kelly is now a student at the University of Toronto where she studies Political Science and Ethics, as well as Society and Law. Thanks to her extensive research and studies on the oil and gas industry, Kelly supports energy developed the Canadian way.
“I have investigated the ethics of oil producers around the world, from Saudi Arabia to Venezuela, and from Iran to Nigeria, and compared their records to Canada,” says Kelly. “Canadian producers treat workers (including women, indigenous peoples, and other minority groups) with dignity and respect, with some of the toughest environmental regulations, while at the same time giving back to the communities in which they operate. From a human rights perspective, Canada is second to none.”
Kelly is proud of Canada’s oil and gas industry and enjoys sharing her support with family and friends on social media.
