Nancy Manchak is a Professional Engineer working in the Canadian pipeline industry whose daily work involves managing pipeline projects that deliver people the energy they need for daily life. From working in communities across Canada, Nancy has seen the positive impact that oil and gas industries have on local economies, and is proud of the world leading regulatory standards and specifications that Canadian companies continuously work to improve upon.
Beyond the technical aspects of engineering, Nancy is an advocate for outreach that enables young women to discover the possibilities of an engineering career. This includes serving on the WISEST (Women in Scholarship, Engineering, Science and Technology) Board of Directors, and as a Cybermentor. She is also active with grassroots politics at the provincial and federal levels, serving as the Vice-President Policy and Constitution for her federal riding association.
